SOLIDWORKS Premium 2020 is based on the Windows 64 bit system for free. I’m guessing there are some baseline drivers for the card just to function, and then application/task specific drivers. I really don’t know how graphics cards work. My theory on why this worked: This is just a guess. SolidWorks 2019 SP5.0 Full Premium Multilanguage 圆4 pic / 2019. Ever since then, SW has been running perfectly again. I then updated the drivers through SW RX. This made sense because now my card had a bunch of non SW drivers or whatever (if my first theory is true). When I went in to SW RX it would say my drivers were out of date. After that SW wasn’t lagging, but the screen would just go black sometimes. The fix: I went in to the graphics card through the device manager and checked for driver updates. This lasted for a couple weeks before I just started trying anything. I always check for current drivers through SW RX, always up to date.
